The Psychological Association of Alberta (PAA) currently recommends a fee schedule of $235 per 50-minute session. I choose to offer the full hour, and both in-person and online sessions are set at a standard rate of $235 per 60-minute session.

Free Soul Psychology does not offer direct billing services at this time, however, all clients will be provided with a receipt to use for reimbursement with their insurance provider. As a fully Registered Psychologist in Alberta, I am typically covered by all insurance plans that cover counselling.

I accept all major credit cards and e-transfer for session payment.

I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. For any missed sessions or late cancellations, the full fee will be charged to your credit card on file. At any point within the 48-hour window, you have the option to switch your session to a virtual appointment, should that be necessary for you.

Typically, most clients attend therapy weekly or bi-weekly to start. However, this could be more or less depending on your individual needs. As therapy progresses and clients enter a maintenance stage, it is normal to space out appointments.

In your first therapy session, we will talk about what’s bringing you in and what you want to gain from therapy. It’s a chance for us to get to know one another so that we can start to make a plan for how we want to navigate future sessions and your own personal therapeutic journey.
